Education and approach
She graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry in 2016. Ranking seventh in Türkiye in the 2017 Dental Specialty Examination (DUS), she began her specialist training in the same university’s Department of Orthodontics and completed it in 2024.
Her research on cleft lip and palate during specialist training was published in an international journal. She has given scientific presentations at national and international congresses and supported her professional development through additional training.
After returning to North Cyprus in 2025, Akdemir continues her work in clear aligners (Invisalign), fixed orthodontic treatment, digital orthodontics, orthognathic surgical planning and advanced orthodontic applications.
She adopts scientific, current approaches to treatment, considering aesthetics, function and individual needs together.
